Award-Winning Play DIRT
in pre-production for its film adaptation

DIRT celebrated its 100th performance on September 11, 2010 during the Vancouver Fringe Festival. It has become abundantly clear over the last few years that many aspects of Sad’s story are universal and that his struggle gives voice to millions of immigrants currently on the road and displaced all around the world.
Our desire is to share Sad’s particular story with as many people as possible and therefore have spent the last 2 years adapting DIRT for film. We are excited to announce that dreck productions will start pre-production in early 2011.

Funding for this movie is solely dependent on the generosity of our friends and audience members who feel compelled to share this story with others . Our operating budget is currently $50,000.-
